Hangers Heroes 2016 Cheque Presentation
Once again Hangers Heroes continued their support for DorSAR with the presentation of £2200 at their Cheque Presentation evening at Poundbury. There to receive the cheque on behalf of DorSAR were Brian & Carol Kennedy.
DorSAR is grateful and proud to be associated with Nina & Roger, and all the Hangers Heroes Volunteers and Companies associated with this great charity.

Hangers Heroes 2015 Cheque Presentation
This year our Secretary Dave Wraight assisted by our PR Team member Jen Wraight, were delighted to be invited by the Hangers Heroes Charity for their 2015 Cheque Presentation. DorSAR was Presented with a cheque for an amazing £3,000. (many thanks to Hangers Heroes for their on going support).The money was raised by the 2014 Challenge Walk, which DorSAR has been and remains proud to assist in.

Hangers Heroes 2013 Cheque Presentation
Once again our Chairman Colin Poulter assisted by our PR Officer,was delighted to be invited by the Hangers Heroes Charity for their 2013 Cheque Presentation. DorSAR was Presented with a ch
eque for an amazing £3,000. (many thanks to Hangers Heroes for their on going support).
The money was raised by the 2012 Challenge Walk, which DorSAR has been and remains proud to assist in.
The Presentation took place on the 21st February. Yet again we were staggered at the amount raised in total - over £13,000, the main of which came from the walk. See more on the Event by clicking here

Hangers Heroes 2012 Cheque Presentation
Our Chairman Colin Poulter,was delighted to be invited by the Hangers Heroes Charity for their 2012 Cheque Presentation. The money was raised by the 2011 Challenge Walk, which DorSAR has been and remains proud to assist in.
The Presentation took place on the 20th February. Yet again we were staggered at the amount raised in total - over £9400, which was achieved from the walk alone, in previous years the Black & White Ball had made a significant contribution but this year Hangers Heroes felt that it presented too great a financial risk.
Colin is pictured (right) receiving the DorSAR Cheque for £2,000 from Ian Jolliffe of Sunseeker , Nina and her Husband Roger and also (below) in the group photo with the other benefitting charities and the winner of the highest and 2nd highest Fundraiser Cups.
