Easyfundraising

What is it?

Easyfundraising is a scheme where you can purchase goods through your favourite retailers and know that with each transaction, a small percentage is donated to a good cause, such as Dorset Search & Rescue.

How do we use the funds raised?

With careful management, it costs us about £25,000 per year to keep DorSAR running and be able to provide search capabilities when vulnerable people go missing in Dorset. Whilst we are able to apply for specific grants in order to purchase specialist equipment, other outgoings such as running costs, insurance and ongoing maintenance are often overlooked. We rely on funds raised through schemes such as easyfundraising to pay for these ongoing costs.

By shopping through easyfundraising, you can help DorSAR: Maintain their control vehicle and Land Rover, pay for fuel to get those vehicles to an incident, fund uniform for a newly qualified search technician, and many more things.
